CAOHC/NHCA 2014 Webinar Series:
"Plugging the Holes in Hearing Conservation Programs: Promoting Prevention and Overcoming Obstacles”
Webinar #1: "Promoting Prevention and Recognizing Success”
Description: Employers who embrace hearing loss prevention as a priority must analyze their hearing conservation efforts and make concerted efforts to improve policies and practices. This session highlights characteristics of successful programs and thereby uncovers some of the holes or caveats inherent in typical hearing conservation programs. As the lead-off session, it sets the stage for the remaining presentations, selected to address a common area of concern – to plug a hole – in hearing conservation. These sessions put theory into practice to improve hearing loss prevention efforts.
