NHCA - OSHA Alliance

On June 2, 2003, National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) agreed to work with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to advance worker safety and health. This agreement set in motion a collaborative relationship with OSHA for the prevention of hearing loss caused by exposure to industrial and construction-related noise and other environmental factors in the workplace. Below are a variety of documents (from both NHCA and OSHA sources) discussing the details and goals of this alliance. NHCA serves on the editorial board of OSHA's Safety and Health Topics page "Noise and Hearing Conservation."
