Enjoy a quarter mile, guided walking tour of the historic French Quarter as told through the viewpoint of prevention: from hurricanes to floods to yellow fever, to British invasions during the Battle of New Orleans, this is a city that follows the "ounce of" creed. The tour will end at the ballroom where the Victory Ball for the Battle of New Orleans was held. This ballroom now part of the Bourbon Orleans Hotel that was built in 1814. You, too, can stand on the same balcony where Andrew Jackson once stood for an address.
