Membership

Member ($170)
Available to persons who hold a graduate or professional degree in a discipline relating to hearing conservation, or who have the equivalent of a graduate degree by virtue of professional experience in the field. Eligibility for those who qualify by professional experience shall be determined by a majority vote of the Executive Council. Membership benefits include Spectrum and Spectrum supplements, and discounted registration for the annual conference.

Associate member ($170)
Available to persons with an interest in hearing conservation, but who do not meet the requirements for full member status.

Student (no charge upon application approval)
Available to persons who are pursuing a degree in a discipline related to hearing conservation and enrolled at least one-half time in an accredited educational institution. Student membership is available only so long as the person is a degree candidate.
 

Service Provider (Professional Service Organization) ($400)
Available to organizations that provide professional hearing conservation services.  Each PSO may have two designated representatives, at least one of who must be responsible for professional services and who must meet the requirements of a Member.  For an additional reduced rate, employees of a Professional Service Organization who are not already designated as the secondary representative and who are not eligible for Individual or Associate membership may join as a PSOA – Professional Service Organization Additional.  PSO members receive an individual and a company listing in the general membership directory and are listed on the NHCA website with a link.  Benefits include Spectrum, Spectrum Supplement, a PSO membership plaque, NHCA logos, annual conference registration at the low member rate, and promotional items at a discounted rate.

Manufacturer/Distributor (Commercial Member) ($900)

Available to businesses or organizations that manufacture or distribute products for use in the management of hearing conservation programs.  The Commercial Member may designate two representatives.  For an additional reduced rate, employees of a Commercial Member who are not already designated as the secondary representative and who are not eligible for Individual or Associate membership may join as a CMA – Commercial Member Additional.  Commercial members receive an individual and a company listing in the general membership directory and are listed on the NHCA website with a link.  Benefits include Spectrum, Spectrum Supplement, free advertising in Spectrum, a CM membership plaque, NHCA logos, reduced conference exhibit fees, and promotional items at a discounted rate.
