Dear NHCAers and Friends,
We hope you are all staying well and weathering the stress of COVID-19.  NHCA wants you to be aware of some of the communications strategies, plans and resources that we have developed to help communicate with you in the coming weeks and months.  Of course, if we can serve you better, please let us know how.
Please know also that we continue to monitor the CDC, national organizations, and other hearing health entities for pertinent information to share.

1.    COVID-19 Community Forum

This open forum allows any member of NHCA to post news, ideas, best practices, questions and concerns surrounding COVID-19.  Please feel free to use this at your will.  Log in to the Member Center, then click on Community Forums and then Updates.  There are already some great suggestions here!

2.     Bi-weekly e-News

We will continue to send out non-urgent updates in our bi-weekly e-News.  As a member, you always get this delivered to your email inbox.   We also encourage any ideas for newsletter articles from any of our membership (YOU!). Click here to share news.

3.    NHCA Program Task Force

Dee Hightower, Program Chair, Vishakha Rawool, Director of Education and their team are keeping abreast of developments as they begin planning for the 2021 NHCA Conference.

4.    Resources

Wash your hands, don’t touch eyes, nose, mouth with unwashed hands, keep a safe distance from people. Stay healthy and safe. Feel free to contact us any time at [email protected].

The Robert Dobie Library

The Robert Dobie Library is a new online resource available to NHCA members and all those with an interest in hearing conservation. The calculators and references listed in the library were created and curated by the late Dr. Robert Dobie, and generously contributed by his family following his passing in 2019. Bob was a long-time NHCA member, award recipient, and a true leader in hearing loss prevention. It is NHCA’s pleasure to host these valuable resources.
