Who is NHCA?

We are audiologists, engineers, nurses, physicians, industrial hygienists, and others who share a commitment to prevent hearing loss, on the job and off.

What we do?

  • Educational opportunities like the one-day Hearing Loss Prevention: The Basics seminar held at the annual conference and other regional seminars held across the country provide low-cost and a timely way to keep skills sharp and stay up-to-date on new developments.

  • Communication tools, like the website and email blasts, put the latest information about legal and regulatory development, new initiatives, and more in your hands right away.

NHCA Membership

Who can join NHCA?

NHCA members are occupational and clinical audiologists, industrial hygienists, occupational health nurses, acoustical engineers and technicians, physicians, occupational health and safety professionals, military personnel, university professors and staff, researchers among other professionals who work in the field of hearing conservation.


NHCA New Members

Have you thought of joining the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) before but just never have?  Now is your chance to join a network of people who share a commitment to preventing hearing loss, on the job and off for FREE*! That is right, if you qualify as an individual or associate member and have never joined NHCA, we invite you to become a part of leading experts, early adopters, and trendsetters in the field of hearing conservation. 

Individual Members: Status is available to those holding a graduate or professional degree in an area related to hearing conservation, or who have equivalent professional experience as determined by NHCA's Executive Council. Members receive Spectrum, publications and teaching tools, significant discounts on conference and seminar registration fees, hold full voting rights and are eligible to hold office.

Associate Members: Status is available to those who share our interest in hearing conservation, but do not qualify for full Member status. Associate members receive all the benefits of membership, but cannot vote or hold office.

NHCA is the only professional organization dedicated to hearing loss prevention.  Improve your skills, practices, and services by associating with NHCA members.
