  Jeffrey was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. In May 2002, he purchased the Custom Protect Ear, Inc. a manufacturer of custom moulded hearing protection. Since then he has been active in the company’s mission of eliminating the incidence of noise induced hearing loss for users of dB Blocker hearing protection. Under his guidance, Custom Protect Ear has grown its share of the industrial hearing protection market selling in every market in Canada and the United States.
Jeffrey is also a member in good standing of the Canadian Standards Association S/304 Technical Committee on Noise and Vibration, chaired subcommittee 5 responsible for the creation of the new Z1007 Hearing Loss Prevention Program Management standard (2016), and a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Working Group 11 responsible for standards pertaining to the measurement of attenuation for hearing protection.
In his spare time, he is a member of the boards of directors for The Schara Tzedeck Synagogue, The Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver, and Vancouver Theatre Sports League.
