Sound Postcard

We all know that spiders are sensitive to disturbances in their webs – certain movements may indicate a tasty bug has been snagged and is available for lunch. To better understand the spider’s world, MIT scientists have used laser imaging, and some artistic license, to convert spider web vibrations into sounds we can hear.
