NHCA Webinar Speaker Proposals

Required Submission Materials: 

Your abstract submission must have the following information:

  • Presentation Title and Description
  • Lead Presenter and Abstract Contact (Name, job title or role (e.g., student), organization, address, phone #, email)
  • Lead Presenter's Biography and Credentials
  • Additional Presenters or co-authors full name and credentials (up to 5)
  • Three educational objectives (required by AAOHN for CNE credit approval & ASHA for CEU approval) Tips for Writing Objectives

The following documents are required to be uploaded in the proposal submission form:
ASHA Conflict of Interest Forms for primary presenter and all co-presenters (required by ASHA for CEU approval). 

Continuing Education Credits:

NHCA will secure continuing education credits for this webinar. You may be required to provide additional information for purposes of verification of credits. 

NHCA Policy Agreements

Commercialism Policy Agreement: NHCA programs are noncommercial opportunities for professional education. Specific product endorsements are prohibited. The NHCA programs may not be used for direct promotion of a presenter’s products, services, or monetary self-interest. For research based presentations, the focus of the presentation must be on the performance outcomes rather than on the particular products or services involved, although it is recognized that to accurately describe the research the presenter’s or author’s employment affiliation, use of that affiliation’s logo in a non-prominent manner, or brief acknowledgment of research sponsors. Commercial logos are limited to title and acknowledgements slides only.

Recorded Presentation and Materials: Presentation materials include (but are not limited to) slides, posters, handouts, and other related materials used for presentations. Presentation materials shall be electronically submitted. For webinars, unless it’s agreed to beforehand in writing, they will be recorded and made available for viewing, following the live presentation, on the NHCA online learning management system.  

For all presenters:

  • During my presentation, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service.
  • I agree to notify NHCA immediately in the event that an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligation as a presenter.
  • To the best of my knowledge, my presentation does not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including any copyright, trademark and privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful.  I have the full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in my presentation.
  • I authorize the NHCA to use my name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of the program.
